The Pocket Magnifier

A brass-rimmed glass lens sized for a child's hand, for the moments when looking is not quite enough. Real ground glass rather than moulded plastic, set in a turned brass rim with a smooth wooden handle. It lives easily in a coat pocket and improves with the scratches it collects.
